Discussion at Freeport.

Mr. LINCOLN having accepted the proposition of Senator DOUGLAS, these gentlemen will both speak in this city on Friday, the 28th of August. According to the arrangement, made between the parties, Mr. Lincoln will open the discussion in a speech of one hour; Mr. Douglas will follow in a speech of one hour and a half; Mr. Lincoln will reply for half an hour.

The DISCUSSION will be held in Goddard's Grove, adjoining the city on the North. The speaking will commence precisely at two o'clock P. M. JAMES MITCHELL, Esq., dem., and T. J. TURNER, Esq., repub., have been appointed moderators, with power to choose a third.
