1. How long before his marriage did Mr. Lincoln give you notice of it? Was it not on the morning of the wedding-day?
It was about noon of Wedding day
2. Who else besides yourself attended him? Did Beverly Powell do so? What lady other than Miss Jayne attended the bride?
Beverly Powell attended him besides myself. I have forgotten the name of the other brides maid
3. How many guests were present? Name if you can some of them. Was a feast or supper served?
There was present a goodly number of persons — Mr Lincolns personal friends.
Cannot now remember whether supper was Served or not.
4. Was the marriage celebrated with ring and book?
It was.
5. Is the incident related in the "Every Day Life of Lincoln" by F. F. Browne, of the comical observation by Judge Brown of the Supreme Court of Illinois correct? I refer to the suggestion by Judge B. when in the marriage ceremony the groom is made to say to the bride: "I endow thee with all my goods and chattels", "Why Lincoln the Statute fixes all that".
It is correct so far as the incident taken place I never Saw the publication
6. If any further incidents occur to your recollection please relate them.
I do not now recollect anything further of importance [2]
