Dr Duncan came to Salem in 1829 (but he cut so small a figure while there that I failed to note the year of his exit) he is windy Kelso came to Salem in the year 1828 remained there some 8 or 9 years then moved Mo. he is an excellent reliable man I can't say where his PO. or residence is. Lincoln & Thompson ^[1] Great Wrestle was at or near Rockisland. The Indian (Jack) who Lincoln protected came to our Camp at or near Henderson Creek or River
