A former domestic servant in the Lincoln home, Ryan was interviewed by JWW in Springfield. According to JWW she called on AL in the White House, but nothing further has been definitely learned about her. If she is the same person whose obituary appeared in ISJ, March 29, 1915, she was an Irish immigrant who was born about 1839.
