Your favor of the 23d ult. enclosing draft on New York for Twenty Dollars, came to hand last Evening. Feel yourself under no obligations for the attentions shown you by myself.

Am glad to know you succeeded in paying yourself by coming to this state. Let me Know when your book goes to press, and remember the Suggestion about sending a prospectus to this Co.'
