Note from page 484: 2. England v. Clark, tried at the June term 1841 of the Menard Circuit Court, was appealed to the Illinois Supreme Court (5 Ill. 486), where AL and J. D. Urquhart represented the plaintiff in error. The case was originally argued at the December term 1841 but was reargued in December 1843, with the court eventually deciding in favor of the defendant.
