42. Tim G. Needham to William H. Herndon.

Elizabethtown Ky June 26th 1865

Dear Sir.

By reference to the "laws and records" I find that Thos Lincoln held his farm in fee. He bought of Dr John Tom Slator. The Deed is dated 2ond Sept 1813 — Lincol's deed to Milton [1] is dated 27th October 1814 (instead of 1816 as you ask in your letter to me.)

Larue Co. was cut off this (Hardin) County in the spring of 1843 — as I wrote to you before. I will assist Mr Wintersmith as far as I can.
