Elizabethtown Ky July 5th 1865 My Dear Sir, Your very kind note of 29 June was duly recd I thank you for the advice good and true contained therein, and will strive to profit by it. The information I give Thos Lincoln bot of Dr John T. Slator, 238 Acres of Land, and sold 200 Acres of same to Chas. Milton He paid Slator 118 Pounds for the land, and sold the 200 Acres for 100 Pounds Leaving 38 Acres unsold, and which I suppose still belongs to the Lincoln's, as I can see no deed of conveyance recorded here If this is not definite enough or is not all you wish to Know. write again, and as often as necessary.
