half sister of Mrs L. — say Mrs. L. had two bros — Dr Grott and Levi Todd in Confed. Service — both died after war. Say Mrs L. was raised like lady whereas her husband was raised otherwise — she complained because L. would open front door instead of having servant do so and because L. would eat butter with his knife she raised "merry war."
