The following births — deaths & Marriages were taken from Mrs Lincoln's Bible, by me Septr. 9th 1865 — which record is in A Lincoln's hand writing and now in the possession of Col Chapman

Nancy Lincoln [1] was born February 10th 1807
Abraham Lincoln — son of Thos & Nancy Lincoln was born Feb 12th 1809
Sarah Bush first married to Daniel Johnson and afterwards the second wife of Thos Lincoln
Thomas Lincoln was born Decr 13th 1788 —
John D Johnson — son of Daniel & Sarah Johnson was born May the 11th — married to Mary Bar Octr 13th 1834 — who was born July 22d 1816
Thomas L. D. Johnston — son of John & Mary Johnston was born January 11th 1837
Abram L. D. Johnston — son of same parents was born March the 27th 1838.
Marietta Sarah Jane Johnston daughter of same parents was born January 21st 1840 —
Squire H. Johnston son of same parents was born December 15th 1841 —
Richard M Johnson son of same parents was born October the 26th 1845
Dennis F Johnson son of same parents was born December 13th 1847

Sarah daughter of Thomas Lincoln, wife of Aaron Grigsby died January 20th 1828.

Nancy or Sarah Lincoln daughter of Thomas Lincoln was married to Aaron Grigsby Aug. — 1826

This I copied from the bible of Lincoln — made in his own hand writing — now in the possession of Col Chapman — ie the leaf of the Bible — now in fragments Causing me trouble to make out — pieces small — worn it in some man's pockett.
