1. Dear Redeemer,
Thou hast kept us Safely through another year,
And again we meet to praise Thee,
And to ask a blessing here.
Months has passed and left behind them,
Memories both sad and bright,
Many victories, many failures,

-- 97 --

Days of darkness, days of light,
Days of darkness, days of light.

2. Thou hast kept us in Thy mercy
To this day, and now we pray,
Father wilt Thou ever keep us
In the straight and narrow way.
Make us strong to do each duty,
Keep us ever by Thy side;
Never may we grieve Thy spirit,
Ever in our hearts abide,
Ever in our hearts abide.

3. When our days on earth are ended
And before Thee we appear,
May all hear the joyful summons,
"Come ye blessed, enter here."
Then to Father, Son, and Spirit,
Three in one, and one in three,
We will give all right and merit,
Holy, blessed Trinity,
Holy, blessed Trinity.
