Of all the mighty parties in the East or in the West,
This new born National Party is the greatest and the best;
It is speaking to the people, to the great and to the small,
And it bids them save the Greenback at election in the Fall.

Come from every party, come from every way;
Bring along your neighbors, make the column strong,
And show the thieves and robbers that we mean to right the wrong.

The money bags do shout aloud that gold alone will do
To pay the bonds and duties and all our taxes too,
And we Nationals deny it, and to show what we're about,
We'll organize our forces and kick the robbers out.

On the day of election we will turn out to a man
And bring along our neighbors to help route the thieving clan:
We'll shoot each Bullion candidate with little paper balls,
